Welcome to AESC 2010 Taipei
Dear friends,
On behalf of the Asian Epilepsy Surgery Society and the Organizing Committee of the 4th Asian Epilepsy Surgery Congress, I would like to extend our warm welcome to you for the upcoming meeting, scheduled from September 3rd to 5th, 2010, in Taipei, Taiwan.
In the past three years, we had successful meetings of the Asian Epilepsy Surgery Society held in Korea, China and Japan, where neurosurgeons and epileptologists enjoyed exchanges of experiences, and have fostered collaboration across the national borders. In the 4th AESC, our scientific program will reflect the conceptual revolution in epilepsy surgery and will cover a whole spectrum of epileptology issues, including presurgical evaluation, microsurgical surgical technique and outcome assessment.
In addition to sharing advanced knowledge of epilepsy surgery, we also invite all participants to take this opportunity to rekindle our friendship, enjoy the unique Taiwanese culture and heritage as well as the diversity of traditional Chinese cuisine in Taipei. We look forward to having you in Taipei, Taiwan, to enjoy our great hospitality.
Sincerely,

Yang-Hsin Shih, M.D.
Professor and Director, Neurological Institute
Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan
President, 4th Asian Epilepsy Surgery Congress
